About us

Alexandra Dulin is a dedicated Special Education Advocate and Certified Mediator committed to empowering families and ensuring that every child receives the support and services they deserve.

Her journey began with a deep-rooted passion for law and justice, but it was her early experiences in education that truly shaped her professional path. Alexandra started her career as a paraprofessional in a moderate to severe classroom in California, focusing on Autism and behavior. Around that same time, her own son was diagnosed with moderate to severe hearing loss, experienced delays in speech, and began receiving early intervention services through special education. Navigating the system as both an educator and a parent gave her a unique and deeply personal perspective — one that continues to guide her work today.

Alexandra became a certified teacher and spent over a decade in Texas classrooms, working in behavior support, piloting programs for students with Autism and emotional disabilities, and mentoring new educators in specialized settings.

Throughout her time in education, Alexandra witnessed firsthand how many families felt overwhelmed, unheard, or simply unaware of their rights within the special education system. Recognizing a greater need, she stepped outside the classroom to support families directly as an advocate. She deepened her knowledge of civil rights law, FAPE, and IDEA, bridging the gap between schools and the families they serve.

To further support families facing challenges beyond the educational sphere, Alexandra pursued certifications in both basic and advanced family mediation. Mediation has allowed her to help individuals navigate conflict in a way that promotes resolution, mutual respect, and lasting understanding. Whether assisting with family-related disputes or guiding families through emotionally charged decisions, she brings compassion, clarity, and fairness to every situation.

As an advocate, Alexandra combines years of hands-on experience in special education with a comprehensive understanding of advocacy law and policy to guide families through the complexities of the special education process. As a mediator, she offers a calm, neutral presence to facilitate constructive conversations that lead to fair, lasting resolutions.

Whether a parent is seeking support through the special education journey, navigating the nuances of an IEP, or facing a conflict that would benefit from structured mediation, Alexandra is dedicated to supporting and empowering them every step of the way. Through Dulin Solutions, she offers strength through advocacy and peace through mediation—helping families find clarity, confidence, and meaningful solutions.
